Adult Church School
| The Adult Education Ministry of First Presbyterian Church exists for the purpose of strengthening and enriching the adults of the congregation through a program of Christian education. The goal of the ministry is to involve all persons in the study of Gods Word, leading to an active involvement and service of Christ our Lord. A wide variety of classes are offered throughout the year that includes Adult Church School classes, Weekday classes and Summer classes. These are taught by the pastors, elders, and laypersons of the congregation. We offer a continuous welcome for all to participate in this ministry, all for the glory of the Almighty God whom we serve. |

| Throughout scripture, we are instructed to gain knowledge, wisdom and to “handle accurately the word of truth.” The Adult Education Ministry offers classes that provide insight, discernment and understanding of God’s Word so that we might be Christ’s living examples in the world around us. We ask that you prayerfully consider participating in one of these classes. | |||

| Paul: The Man, The Ministry, and The Message |
We will begin with an exploration of Paul the man. Who was this person that God chose to spread His word, particularly to the Gentiles? We will then look at his ministry, the churches he began, and the cities in which he ministered. Finally, we will explore the message he brought not only to those ancient cities, but also to us. |

So often while listening to the Sermon on Sunday morning we will think of questions we would like to ask or comments we would like to make. Now we can. Each class will look at the Scripture readings and message that week and together we can have an open conversation about how they teach us and speak to us today. |
