  HEALING AND WHOLENESS WORSHIP SERVICE

The Congregational Care Ministry of the church will offer a Healing and Wholeness Worship Service on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at 4:00pm in the Chapel.

We live in a broken world and all of us experience disease and sin in our lives. This is a highly specialized worship service that focuses on experiencing the presence of God in a way that opens the door for an individual to pray and ask for God's special help, whether it be for healing or the need for wholeness. The service includes a specialized liturgy prepared for experiencing God's helping presence, opportunity to receive Communion, the anointing of oil, and the laying on of hands. It is led by the pastors of the church assisted by a team of highly dedicated and trained lay ministers with skills in this form of worship.

People who have participated in this service have experienced the powerful help and nurturing of God's presence. Lives have been changed for the better, and the service is open to all who seek a special time with God.
